Notes for the meeting of
September 25th, 2007

Officers Present: Charles Lin, Yuzhi Zheng, Michael Wachenschwanz, Daiwei Li, John Chai, Aashish Sreedharan, David Liu, Andrew Su,
Advisors Present: Mr. David Giandomenico
Officers Absent: Manisha Vashista, Toshitaka Tachibana, Edward Lu

The meeting was called to order at 7:13 pm.
 

Hey Everyone,

These are topics we discussed in this meeting.

• Old Business
  • New Robot Housing :
    • 2005 with John Chai .
    • 2006 with Mr. Peck.
    • 2006 with Mr. G.
  • Demo:
    • It was on the 19th at lunch
    • At first people watched, then at the end, they got bored.
• New Business
  • Club day :
    • We'll show the robot.
    • On the 26th at lunch.
    • We'll have flyers and buttons.
  • Parent Meeting :
    • General one on October 2nd .
    • More technical one on October 23rd.
    • We need to get info packets and powerpoints ready.
  • Fleetweek:
    • On October 6th - 7th.
    • Get to keep 7% of sales.
    • Pretty cool stuff there like airshows.
    • We need more people.
    • Michael is in charge.
• CalGames
  • On October 13th.
  • Our first competiton of the year; We'll be playing last years game, Rack n' Roll.
  • We have all the volunteers we needed.
  • Yuzhi's in charge of this.
• Officer Reports:
  • Daiwei Li:
    • We have $4000.
  • John:
    • Went to their first build meeting.
    • 1 group of 18 .
    • Pretty unstructured, but John has material for them .
  • Aashish:
    • Cupertino just got a new robotics team, maybe we could help them.
    • Aashish will set up the meeting.
• Open Floor Discussions:
  • Constitution:
    • Need to draft changes, then have club approve it. Here are some changes we though about:
      • All the seniors have to approve before the list of the new officers is released.
      • The officer selection process maybe changed so that if there are less than 3 seniors, the proccess will be different.
      • We need a way to legitimize the new positions we make, that aren't in the constitution.
