Notes for the meeting of
September 11th, 2007

Officers Present: Charles Lin, Yuzhi Zheng, Michael Wachenschwanz, Daiwei Li, Edward Lu, John Chai, Aashish Sreedharan, David Liu, Andrew Su, Toshitaka Tachibana
Advisors Present: Mr. David Giandomenico
Officers Absent: Manisha Vashista

The meeting was called to order at 7:12 pm.
 

Hey Everyone,

These are topics we discussed in this meeting.

• Old Business
  • First Meeting:
    • Got the registration pamphlets passed out.
    • Wasn't able to show vidoe, so will show it tommorrow.
  • Buttons:
    • Yuzhi's ordered 250 of them.
• New Business
  • Demonstration:
    • Need to put it in the announcements.
    • Still need to figure out what robots should be there other than this year's bot.
    • On the 19th at lunch.
  • Get poster to Jim Beck:
    • Going to his house on the 12th after school to give it to him.
  • WRRF:
    • We have 6 people, 4 students and 2 adults going.
    • It's on the 15th.
  • Fleetweek:
    • On October 6th - 7th.
    • Get to keep 7% of sales.
    • Pretty cool stuff there like airshows.
    • We won't be taking the tent this year, becuase it doesn't raise enough money.
    • Michael is in charge.
• CalGames
  • On October 13th.
  • Our first competiton of the year; We'll be playing last years game, Rack n' Roll.
  • We have all the volunteers we needed.
  • Yuzhi's in charge of this.
• Officer Reports:
  • Daiwei Li:
    • We have $4100.
  • David:
    • We'll be going to their first meeting which is on the 17th, at the Miller Library.
  • John:
    • Got the robot fixed up.
  • Manisha:
    • The American Honda will only look at the grant in October.
  • Michael:
    • Went to Michael's to look at the scrap book stuff.
    • Will bring pictures of the types to next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:42 pm.
