Notes for the meeting of
May 16, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 7:18 pm.

Hey Everyone,

Today we discussed a long list of things and formed various committees to complete certain tasks:

-Club Day is this Friday at lunch, there will be three people collecting the money, and three people handing out the food as well as one person to make sure that no food gets stolen. Also, during the latter half of 5th period, anyone who is free should come to the ASB Den to make posters that advertise our Wendy's food. Remember that when we are finished selling, no one should leave immediately so that everything gets done properly.

-Billiards Social will be May 27th from 8-10 p.m. and will cost approximately $10 per person

-Miller demonstration will be on May 30th. It will happen in the Math Enrichment class at Miller and will continue on into brunch (those going from Lynbrook will miss 3rd period) We have formed a committee of people with Caroline as the leader, to work on this and to decide what kind of a presentation we will have at Miller (PowerPoint / video / photo slideshow). In addition, we have decided to bring this years robot and demonstrate it in their quad at brunch.

-End of the Year Banquet will be on June 10th the location is still decided so if you have a good place in mind do some independent research and let John or Mallik know. We are considering making it a charity banquet so members have to pay about $30 per person.

-Photo's and Thank You's - We will be giving framed pictures of our team to show our appreciation to DP Products and SJSU for letting us use their resources. In order to do this, we have formed a Photo Committee with Aashish as the leader, he will be selecting pictures and sending them to Dennis to get the pictures developed. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to sign the mats of the frames like we did last year.

-Interviews- Today was the deadline for the officer applications, all of you who applied for a VP or President position, should sign up for an interview slot after school from Wed - Fri, if you haven't done so already.
